There are so many products to choose from when it come to taking care of your hair. Does it really matter? If your hair is short, must you really use a good shampoo and conditioner? Let's go over some basics:

  • Wash every other day to preserve the oils in your hair
  • Use a sulfate free shampoo
  • Use conditioner...even if you have short hair
  • When you don't shampoo, condition
  • For longer hair, you will need more conditioner...avoid the scalp and apply from mid-shaft to ends
  • Choose a shampoo for your hair type
  • Avoid 2 in 1 products as they tend to be harsh and unsuccessful
  • Add hair oil for extra moisture...avoid using too much, a pea sized portion will due
  • Get a trim every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the length of your hair, the shorter the hair, the more frequent you will need to have it trimmed
