There are so many products to choose from when it come to taking care of your hair. Does it really matter? If your hair is short, must you really use a good shampoo and conditioner? Let's go over some basics:
- Wash every other day to preserve the oils in your hair
- Use a sulfate free shampoo
- Use conditioner...even if you have short hair
- When you don't shampoo, condition
- For longer hair, you will need more conditioner...avoid the scalp and apply from mid-shaft to ends
- Choose a shampoo for your hair type
- Avoid 2 in 1 products as they tend to be harsh and unsuccessful
- Add hair oil for extra moisture...avoid using too much, a pea sized portion will due
- Get a trim every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the length of your hair, the shorter the hair, the more frequent you will need to have it trimmed
