• Invest in a quality blade
• Read the label of your shaving cream: choose one with more natural ingredients as they are gentler on your skin
• Choose a brush with soft fibers, animal hair may be your best bet

Ready to shave:

• Clean your face
• Lather it up
• Get a good grip on your blade (thumb on bottom, fingers on top, pinky off the end)
• Slowly shave in the direction of the hair growth, not against it, hold your skin as to tighten it with the other hand
